Greetings. I am the West End Whistleblower. I have worked in the commercial theatre sector fo many years, and am lucky (yes I am greatful for my opportunities) to have worked at multiple shows in London's West End.

The West End is a thrilling place to be, and there will always be that little tingle of excitement about coming into work, something I know very few sectors can possibly give their staff, however the West End has an ugly side too, and this includes systematic cover ups which staff are scared put under huge pressures related to, and careers on the line if anyone speaks up.

Everthing listed on this website has been put to the companies, producers and West End leaders first. One is because I will never air dirty laundry publicly if I feel it can be resolved amicably, and also I believe vehemently in the right of reply.

Many of the things mentioned on this website may shock and discretion is advised. It must also be noted for legal reasons that the appropriate legal avenue has and will be continuously followed. This includes (but not limited to) safeguarding referrals.

I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to speak with a vast number of others who have shown concerns. This includes parents of children in the shows who have said that they have had safeguarding concerns, but are either ignored, or are afraid to come forward at the fear of damage to their child's career (I feel I should add that this is a pressure applied to parents by the Sector and they are in every way a victim there). This also includes front of house staff being required not to involve their union in talks following show closure.

Change is coming and is absolutely necessary, but it relies on huge support. On the contact page, you can get in touch where every message is read within 24 hours. We can have an off the record chat about your concerns and experience, you can assist by allowing me to include your issues in my rants, and I can do that on an anonymity basis. My contact page is based on absolut trust. I will also explain my background, and may be able to give certain advice (where lawfully I am able to do so).

Please continue to follow my work.
